Experience

    • Assistant Structural Engineer

      Used 3D modeling to design and dimension structures from concept to manufacturing drawings. Generated bolt, material, and assembly lists and compiled them into usable documentation for projects ranging from fire supports to industrial applications with Boliden.

      WSP i Sverige, Skellefteå

    • Structural Designer

      Designed reinforced concrete foundations and steel frames for asphalt production equipment using relevant structural codes, with customizations for client requirements and site-specific wind, soil, and seismic conditions.

      Astec Industries, Inc., Chattanooga, TN

    • Staff Engineer

      Collected, classified, and transported soil samples for geotechnical testing and reports. Managed multiple crews across pre-construction sites for the I-285 and State Road 400 Interchange reconstruction project in Atlanta.

Education

    • Master of Science in Wood Technology

      Coursework ranged from tree anatomy and forestry to sawmill processing, multivariate data analysis, and design of timber structures. Project work studied wood-water relationships using CT scanning, and the thesis focused on moisture uptake in cross-laminated and glue-laminated timber.
